The billionaire behind the online retailer Asos has lost three of his four children in theSri Lanka terrorist attacks.

Anders Holch Povlsen, Britains largest private landowner and Denmarks richest man, was on holiday with hiswife Anne, 40, and their children Alma, Astrid, Agnes and Alfred when the bombs went off on Easter Sunday.

The couple have not said which of the children, who attended state schools in Denmark, had died but a spokesman for Bestseller, Mr Povlsens clothing empire, said only one survived.

Days before the attack one of the couples daughters, Alma, posted a photo thought to be of her siblings, Astrid, Agnes and Alfred, on Instagram

Days earlier, Alma uploaded an image of her three siblings beside a swimming pool lined with palm trees on Instagram, describing them as three little bears.
