Real Housewives of Vancouver sweetheart Mary Zilba has a new asset to brag about. Besides her legendarily prominent cheekbones and alleged pop star past, shes also bagged herself a billionaire date: former Dragons Den panelist and Canadian entrepreneur W. Brett Wilson.

The pair was brought together by matchmakerJane Carstens, and their first date at Seasons in the Park was featured on the Real Housewives season finale on Tuesday.

Wilson took the TV appearance as a chance to promote his new book as well as hype up a jewelry company he invests in, bragging about his high rate of return as he gave Zilba a necklace to celebrate their date.

Its a little bit of a Brett-fomercial, Zilba told the camera.

But despite his obvious attempts at self-promotion and a few gratuitous gapes at her cleavage, Zilba admitted she was starting to like Wilson and the two shared a kiss as they exchanged phone numbers.

Earlier in the episode, Zilba and buddy Robin Reichman met up with Carstens to look over four potential mates, and the matchmaker singled out Wilson, part owner of the Nashville Predators and a National Post columnist, as her top pick.

Hes the whole package, Carstens said. This ones a billionaire, the other ones are millionaires.

Rumours of Zilba and Wilsons blossoming relationship have been circulating on Canadian gossip blogs since the fall. Theyve been sighted at a charity fundraising cruise, a Calgary fashion show and a Canucks game.

Despite going on several dates with the Real Housewife, however, Wilson told the Calgary Herald this week that he is still happily single.

In a cover story published March 6, Zilba told the West Ender newspaper that shes ready to settle down. Im not really interested in dating. I just want to find a partner. I dont know, Im a better girlfriend than a date, she said.

This week, Wilson tweeted out a few teasers for the season finale, and coyly suggested he planned to tune in for the big reveal.

I am going to watch RHOV tomorrow night – just to see if anything interesting happens – that doesnt involve drama or purses. LongShot, he wrote.

In case it isnt obvious, Wilson doesnt seem to be a fan of Zilbas show and might not be the most supportive potential partner on the planet. On Saturday he tweeted, Just watching RHOV for the first time – sorta – actually fell asleep the first time I tried a month or so ago 😉
