Giving her baby up was the hardest thing Emery Chase had to do, but when she saw her son seven years later in a chance encounter at the grocery store, she wasnt sure how to handle it. He looked exactly like the pictures she received every six months, and her heart yearned to have a relationship with the child she was forced to give up.

After a car accident that left Seth Wellington with two broken arms, he needed caregiving assistance. The moment Emery Chase presented herself for an interview, he knew she was different but not in a good way. Her edgy appearance was more than his conservative mindset could handle, but her inability to be intimidated won him over in the end.

When two people who couldnt be more different fell for each other, everything seemed almost perfect until Emery revealed who she really was.

Would they have the chance to become a family or was the betrayal too much to overcome?

Blind Date with a Billionaire Single Dad is a heart warming, clean/Christian romance. Ms. Kelly always manages to tug on my heartstrings. For such an emotional story, there are several laugh out loud moments – particularly when Seth interviews Emery! There are not a lot of characters in the story, but they are well portrayed they jumped off the page for me! I highly recommend this well written book to lovers of clean romance.

Normally, I really enjoy the books in this series, but this one, not so much. There were parts of it that just rubbed me the wrong way, and I didnt agree with how those things were handled. For me, it tainted everything, including the romance, so I didnt feel that the story was believable. Thankfully for me, it was a quick read, but I consider it the weak link in the series.

When Emery Chase was 15 years old, she gave up her son for adoption. She wanted him to be a part of a loving family and she thought she had found that couple, Seth and Allie Wellington.

Move forward 7 years and Emery, having received regular pictures of her son from the Wellingtons, sees her boy in a grocery store, with a nanny. This concerns her and she decides to follow them home – right into an interview for a job. This concerns her and she decides to follow them home – right into an interview for a job. She wasnt going to interview for the job, just ask for visiting rights, but Seth was quite out of sorts that day and Emery wasnt sure shed made the right choice after all and so she takes the job as Seths helper while he recovers from a car accident.

I liked this story, a bit different from many stories out there. Emery has to live with the deceit she is portraying every day, not telling Seth who she really is. She is growing closer to her son and knows it is going to kill her to walk away from him, but shes also falling in love with Seth, and when he finds out who she is, shes afraid hell hate her. He is falling in love with Emery and believes he can trust her. She is so loving to his son. Oh what a tangled web we weave…

What a crazy thing Julia did to follow the nanny home with some little boy by the name of Zac on a whim. She believed he was the baby she had as a 15 year old Mom. She was an obedient daughter to give him up for adoption when she wanted so much to keep him. But surely she had done the right thing. She got pictures of him every 6 months at her request. So now what is she going to do when she shows up? Maybe she should have figured all that out first before acting on imSeth & Julias Meeting

Seth is absolutely stewing about all these ridiculous women who want to be the assistant to his nurse for just a few weeks until he gets his casts off and his ankle gets well too. None of them will do; he cant stand the first one of them! Only 2 more to go if he doesnt bite someones head off first. Finally the last one comes in and gets his attention with her extremely bright clothes not to mention her being totally unlike anyone hes ever met. What kind of experience do you have? Where is your resume? Thus begins a remarkable story of loneliness, suffering, and finding more than one would imagine. Recommended.

Finding each other meant they had to open their hearts but there was only one way for these two to do it. A story about trust and possibilities, about finding oneself and purpose, finding God and forgiveness. The author finds a way to get this point across without taking away from the story but to enhance the story. This clean read will touch you and fill you at the same time. I read this author the first time in a box set and loved her story so I had to come back for more. This standalone read was just what I needed and was thoroughly enjoyed.

The book grabs the readers attention as it takes them on an emotional roller coaster ride. You fall in love with a sweet, but stubborn 7 year old boy; witness Emery and Seth, Zacs dad, become friends and a lot more; and, watch the fireworks and devastation when Emily tells Seth the truth. Since Ms. Kelly writes Christian fiction, there are many situations where Emery leans on her faith. The passages help define the person that Emery has become. They are in no way preachy or offensive. This is an excellent book and I really enjoyed it. I think that anyone who reads romance books would like this book.

While the premise is unlikely, its not impossible, and that opens up some intriguing plot possibilities such as this one.

Emerys concern about her biological son was natural, and her initial reasons for subterfuge were understandable. Once she established that her son was being well loved by his adoptive dad, though, she should have confessed her identity & reasons to Seth.

But who cant understand the temptation to get to know her son a little?A fascinating what if scenario

*Religion: not quite as natural to the story as in some of her other works & feels a little heavy-handed in a few spots, but its easy for the uninterested to pass over

I love this series!!! Every story has been so heartwarming and inspirational. Emery is such a great character, her life has not been easy on several accounts but she has inner strength of endurance even at a young age. Her best friend is so supportive and a perfect sounding board of stability for her. Seth is a grumpy old man, lol. So very well written clean, inspirational romance that doesnt even need the steam to make it be a great read. She did it again, another 5+ story!! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.

Evangeline Kelly did it again with another amazing story that will tug at your heart strings.

Emery had to give up her son for adoption when she was 15 years old. And 7 years later a chance encounter with him leads to a job opportunity.

This story had its full share of emotion, heartbreak, longing, love and lies. Lies that could ultimately tear everything apart.

Written with such emotional that you can feel their pain, their joy and their uncertainties. I cant even imagine the pain that girl would have gone through to give up her baby and have never gotten over it. Just so gut wrenching. Well worth the read, have a tissue handy, you may need one, I did.

Loved it. Although the title really didnt fit the story.

Emery had a hard decision to make at 15 and her life was still in the same place 7 years later. She has to trust God finally to get her through the next stage of her life as she meets her son given up at 15. Seth finally also realizes that God iswho will straighten out his life and bring him and Zac the one to makee their lives complete

Is for young people. I am 76 but I cried over this book all the same.

My husband and I adopted a child. Her birth mother had abandoned her, so the situation was totally different from the one here. But I could relate.

But so can any reader who has loved a spouse or child, or who expects to do so in the future. Or who wishes she had been able to have such an experience.

Forgiveness comes with a relationship with God. Seth is a non-believer with a past hurtful relationship but has an adopted son that he loves unconditionally. Enter the women who gave birth to him as a young girl but sees an opportunity to make sure her son has a good life and things develop from there. Add in Christian believers who bring the message of Gods love and forgiveness and you have a sweet story.

I was hooked from the beginning, when 15 year old Emery watches her newborn son being given to his adoptive parents, and the new father falls in love with him immediately, then looks at Emery with understanding and thanks her.

The next part was a touch reaching, but still well written.

The rest of the book just flew, watching them all grow closer. I kept urging Emery to just tell him!, though she never did.

This is an amazing and breathtaking love story with endearing and adorable characters that will steal your heart from the very beginning as they go towards their own unconditional love and understanding as they journey towards trying to become a family.

Holy moly. The premise if this book was so intriguing that I HAD to read it. Had. To. And Im so glad I did. The characters felt very real. And their emotions were very raw. I loved the people that were planted in their lives to share the gospel with them. And how they came together despite trying circumstances. I only wish their was more to read!

I love a good love story and this one of the best. I

love the way faith played a role in this story, because without without faith and the love of God, a relationship and a marriage just isnt possible. Kudos to the author!!!!!

Loved this story of redemption and love by Evangeline Kelly! It dealt with some difficult situations and emotions but with the hope that is found in a relationship with Jesus. Ms. Kelly is a new author for me–I cant wait to read more of her wonderful stories!

Thanks so much for the wonderful journey with this family. The pieces didnt seem to fit together but they really did. Cant wait for another one. Ive read all the rest, I do believe Rupert needs a story…

I dont normally read Christian love stories but, this book was so worth it. From the beginning I was sucked into the story and couldnt wait to see what the outcome would be. This is a great book!

I found this book so good I read it all in one night. The characters were well rounded flaws and all. The author wrote so each character shows how fragile they are. The conclusion was expected put was so sweet.

Thank you Evangeline Kelly. I am NEVER disappointed reading your books. Was such a sweet read!

May you continue to shine through your writing and may the glory be Gods.

Highly recommend this well written book with its HEA ending. Fun while being inspirational.

Evangeline Kelly is the pen name I use to write contemporary Christian romance books. When I was a kid, I had two dreams. One was to work with at risk youth and the other was to write books. After pursuing my passion of working with foster children for over twenty years, I finally decided to pursue my childhood dream of writing.

I love a good book that draws you in and takes hold of your heart. When I write, I hope to show real life situations people go through and how God uses those situations to draw us closer to Himself.

Ive witnessed suffering in my line of work, but Ive also witnessed Gods redeeming love. A good Christian romance features both hardship and delight. My hope is that my stories not only entertain, but encourage, and most of all, that they bring glory and honor to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
